Blogging in Style

While setting up my blog, I was looking through the available templates and didn't find anything that really caught my fancy. So I decided to try my hand at designing a custom background. I used a photo I liked with a leaf (because leaves are... our friends) and blended it with some scratched texture, added a gradient, and KAZAM! ... a new background was born. My question, is it too distracting?
